DMSB Permit Nordschleife (DPN) – Level C | Information for participants
In order to participate in the Touring Car Grand Prix on September 17–18, 2026, at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the DMSB Permit Nordschleife (DPN) is required in addition to the respective license.
The following applies: at least DPN Level C (or higher).
Mandatory: DPN e-learning (DMSB Academy)
The DPN e-learning course is mandatory and will be activated in DMSBnet (German/English) after applying for the DPN and ends with an online test.
Procedure for obtaining DPN C
- Apply for DPN in DMSBnet (in advance so that the e-learning course can be activated)
- Complete DPN e-learning course and pass online test
- Have the required qualification/practical certification ready in accordance with DPN regulations (if relevant in individual cases)
- Submit DPN certificate for administrative approval
DPN C course on September 16, 2026 (previous day)
For optimal preparation, we are offering a DPN C course at the Nürburgring on September 16, 2026. The course will be conducted by a certified DMSB course provider.

- Contents: Safety requirements for the Nordschleife (flags/code procedures, behavior in the event of incidents), track specifics
- Price: €230
Important note: The DPN C course does not replace the mandatory DPN e-learning. The e-learning must be completed before September 16, 2026.
